About Christine

Mother, teacher, and mentor, Christine has been teaching since 2004; a journey that began in New York and landed her (back) in Vancouver in 2006. Her classes reflect a passion and respect for both rhythmic and fluid movement, and strong, focused attention. Pairing precision in alignment instruction with artful language, she works to create a space where you are both safe to feel, and supported to grow. She is regarded as a teacher who speaks openly and honestly about the full spectrum of the human experience; able to offer relevant teachings from both the ancient and the everyday.

Christine has presented at Wanderlust Whistler, the Whistler Yoga Conference and the Victoria Yoga Conference. She was a senior teacher with YYOGA (and before it was "YYOGA") for several years, working in various capacities, including teacher mentorship and studio management. She was named in Best of Vancouver by Vancouver Magazine, and is regarded as a teacher (and champion) for the teacher. Christine is the former Program Director of the Advanced Teacher Training at the Vancouver School Yoga, and has continued to support  teachers in their development. In addition to teaching weekly classes , including a once-monthly 2-hour advanced practice, she offers SPARKS, a teacher series, and one-on-one teacher mentorship, both locally and remotely.

She lives in East Vancouver with her husband and their three daughters.
